Hi, I'm Haleigh!
My background is rooted in visual storytelling.
Before working with local businesses, I was a videographer in broadcast journalism at WMTW Channel 8 News in Maine, where I captured real moments under tight deadlines and helped tell stories that needed to be clear, accurate, and trusted. That experience shapes how I approach photography and video today — with intention, clarity, and respect for the people in front of the camera.
Over time, it became clear that the same skills used in news videography are what local businesses need to be seen and recognized in their communities. Framing a story honestly, highlighting what matters, and presenting it authentically builds familiarity — especially in small towns.
Photos by Couture is the natural progression of that experience.
Today, I work with local service-based businesses — restaurants, hotels, HVAC companies, and small-town shops, and even real estate — to create photo and video content that feels personal, familiar, and true to who they are. Nothing staged. Nothing overly polished. Just real visuals that reflect the people behind the business.
The goal isn’t to go viral.
The goal is to help the right people see your business consistently, recognize you when they need your services, and choose you with confidence as you grow.
I don’t operate like a traditional agency or take over your marketing. I create high-quality visual content and show business owners how to use it confidently — including how to run simple local Instagram ads — so they stay in control of their presence and can scale at a pace that makes sense.
In communities, relationships matter. Faces matter. Familiarity matters. Photos by Couture exists to help local businesses stay visible in a way that still feels like them — grounded, honest, and genuine.
If you’re looking for content that reflects your business honestly, reaches the right clients, and supports steady growth without pressure or contracts, I’d love to connect.
